Military Programs

Not all wounds are visible. The men and women who serve in our military branches often return from service carrying the wounds and scars of trauma — not just of the body but of the mind.

To serve those who have served our country, Pacific Solstice founded Strength in Support — the largest nonprofit organization in California specializing in mental health services for active service men and woman, U.S. veterans, and their families.

Through Strength in Support, service members, veterans and their loved ones have low-cost access to high-quality mental health care and treatment for a range of issues including post-traumatic stress disorder and substance abuse. We’re focused on helping active-duty service members be ready for deployment, returning service members transition successfully to civilian life, and families find the support they need.
